recycling fluorescent bulbs 8 Months, 1 Week ago
I get a lot of questions about recycling fluorescent lights from my clients. Does anyone know of a big retailer that will recycle burnt light bulbs?

IKEA claims to have a recycling program at most stores for fluorescent lamps. They say to visit lamprecycle.org if you may need to find other resources in your area.

Another useful Web site is this one:

http://www.epa.gov/epaoswer/hazwaste/id/univwast/where/index.htm

Which lists many state and local recycling programs for fluorescent lamps/mercury-containing bulbs.
